Northern Connections is a free, voluntary program which helps low-wage individuals. When you call, representatives at Northern Connections can help you find resources.
Maybe you have just one or two questions. Or, you might be overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. It can be helpful to have someone work with you to sort through issues and develop a plan to move forward.

Northern Connections contracted with the Department of Human Services (DHS) to provide the statewide toll-free telephone line for health care information. This program, offered by Northern Connections, is called Care Connections. The Care Connections toll-free telephone line is for all Minnesotans. The line is targeting Minnesotans without health insurance and low-income Minnesotans who may be eligible for public health care coverage. Callers will also be provided information on public and private health care coverage. Information will be provided in English as well as other languages.
